No person shall engage in the plumbing business within the City of Watertown unless they have obtained a Certificate of Competency from the Watertown Examining Board of Plumbers. Any person desiring to engage in the business of plumbing in the City of Watertown shall first apply to the Watertown Examining Board of Plumbers and pay the associated fees for the Master Plumber examinations. Each Master Plumber who has passed all exams given by the Examining Board of Plumbers and has received a Certificate of Competency must apply for an annual Master Plumber license. This license expires each calendar year on June 30.
Annual license fee is $250
Complete the Master Plumber Annual License application
Make check payable to the “Watertown City Clerk” for the appropriate amount
Mail application form and payment to the City Clerk’s Office, 245 Washington Street, Watertown, NY 13601 or place in an envelope addressed to the “City Clerk” in the City Hall Drop Box located at the Sterling Street entrance to the building
The Certificate of Registration will be mailed once it is processed
