Citizens Advisory Board (Advantage Watertown)

The Citizens Advisory Board (also known as Advantage Watertown) is a consultatory group made up of City stakeholders that discusses policy issues and municipal projects with Council Members and City Staff and offers feedback and recommendations.  The board operates in an advisory role only and does not have any official decision-making or administrative authority.  Discussions and presentations are informal and meant to encourage an open exchange of ideas.

Membership on the board is by City Council appointment.  Meetings take place at 8:30 a.m. on the second Thursday of every month.  Most meetings occur in Council Chambers at City Hall.  However, the board will occasionally meet in other locations around the City, particularly when an agenda topic calls for a meeting in the field.
