Criminal Investigations Division

The Criminal Investigations Division (CID) is comprised of detectives, evidence technicians, warrants officer, and detectives assigned to the Metro Jefferson Drug Task Force (MJDTF).

CID detectives handle serious felonies, sex offenses, and crimes against children. All cases start at the patrol level and will be forwarded to CID as appropriate, at which point a detective will make contact with you.

CID detectives can be reached through dispatch at 315-782-2233.
Detectives are often out of the office. Be sure to leave your name, a valid call back number, and a message and a detective will contact you as soon as possible.
