Tentative Assessment Roll Notice
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 506 of the Real Property Tax Law the Assessor has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll of said City for the year 2026, and said roll is on file in the Office of the Assessor, City Hall, 245 Washington St., Watertown, New York, where it may be seen and examined by any person until Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 2:00 pm, at said time the Board of Assessment Review shall meet for the hearing of complaints in relation to assessments, and that the Assessor will be in attendance with such Tentative Assessment Roll at said Assessor’s Office between 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, and between 2:00 pm – 4:00pm on Monday, January 26, 2026 through Friday, January 30, 2026. The Board of Assessment Review will meet from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, for the hearing of complaints, and that a publication containing procedures for contesting your assessment is available at the Assessor’s Office.
