NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 103 of the General Municipal Law, State of New York, sealed bids will be received by the City of Watertown, Purchasing Department for the following, furnish complete to specifications:

Watertown City Court Renovation Project

Sealed bids will be received at the City of Watertown, Purchasing Department until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read in Council Chambers.

This renovation project is for the existing city hall office building and court room.

Bids are requested for the following Contract:

• Contract 1 – Asbestos Abatement
• Contract 2 – General Construction
• Contract 3 – Roofing
• Contract 4 – Mechanical
• Contract 5 – Plumbing
• Contract 6 - Electrical

The award of this bid is subject to appropriation of funds necessary by the City of Watertown. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, deemed not to be in the best interest of the City, at the sole discretion of the City of Watertown.

A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Tuesday, October 14th, 2025 at 2:00 pm at City Hall, 245 Washington Street, Watertown New York 13601. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is strongly recommended.

All bids must be submitted on two (2) complete sets in a sealed envelope plainly marked, “Bid #2025-20 Watertown City Court Renovation Project.”
