NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 103 of the General Municipal Law, State of New York, sealed bids must be received at the City of Watertown, Council Chambers, by 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2025 for Bid #2025-11: Watertown Pedestrian Signal Improvement Project PIN: 70PS.02 D036015 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read.

Project includes curb ramp and pedestrian signal upgrades at eight signalized intersections. The project limits at each intersection extend approximately 25 feet along each approach.

This is a Federal Aid Project and NYSDOT Standard Specifications, officially finalized and adopted on September 1, 2024 as posted on the New York State Department of Transportation’s website must be followed by the successful bidder.

The DBE goal for this project is: 4 %

There are no M/WBE or SDVOB goals for this project.

The EEO Employment goals for this project are: 2.5% Minority Employment Goal

6.9% Women Employment Goal

All bids must be submitted on two (2) complete sets in a sealed envelope plainly marked,

Award of this bid is subject to appropriation of funds necessary by the City of Watertown. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, deemed not to be in the best interest of the City, at the sole discretion of the City of Watertown.
