NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 103 of the General Municipal Law, State of New York, sealed bids will be received by the City of Watertown, Purchasing Department for the following, furnish complete to specifications:

WPCP Women’s Locker Room and Emergency Generator Relocation

GHD No. 12620016

Sealed bids will be received at the City of Watertown, Purchasing Department until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read in Council Chambers.

The Project includes the expansion of the existing women’s locker room, demolition of the existing generator and relocation of the new generator outside the Control Building at the Watertown WPCP.

Bids are requested for the following Contract:

· General Construction – Contract 1

· Electrical – Contract 2

· HVAC – Contract 3

· Plumbing – Contract 4

The award of this bid is subject to appropriation of funds necessary by the City of Watertown. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, deemed not to be in the best interest of the City, at the sole discretion of the City of Watertown.

A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Tuesday, September 24th, 2024 at 9:30 am at Watertown Water Pollution Control Plant, 700 William T. Field Drive, 13601, Watertown New York. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.

All bids must be submitted on two (2) complete sets in a sealed envelope plainly marked, “Bid #2024-25 WPCP Women’s Locker Room and Emergency Generator Relocation.”
