The City consists of several departments, most of which are located in City Hall at 245 Washington Street. 


City Hall, also called Municipal Building, houses the following departments:
 
Assessment, Civil Service, City Clerk,  Code Enforcement, City Manager and Mayor, Comptroller's Office, Downtown,  Engineering Department, Historian, Information Technology, Planning & Zoning, Public Works Administration, Purchasing, and Water Department.


Departments located in other areas of the city include:
 
Fire (3 locations), Library, Public Works (CitiBus, Parks/Rec, Refuse & Recycling, Electric), Police Department, Sewage Treatment Plant, and Water Treatment and Transmission & Distribution.
