The City Planning Board is composed of 7 members. The Planning Board’s main responsibilities are reviewing requests for site plan, special use permit, zone change and subdivision approvals and making recommendations to the City Council on the first three. The Board may also make recommendations on other planning issues

They hold regular meetings on the first Tuesday of each month at 1:30 p.m. The meetings usually last between 30 minutes to 2 hoursSpecial meetings are held occasionally when needed.  Length of preparation required before meetings depend on the agenda items, but typically can be 2 hours in length.
